Cheval products will always be high quality and highly functional. After all, it's riding - these items need to "work".
We are based in Ontario, Canada and so have made a conscious decision to manufacture our products in Canada (Ontario actually) to support our local economy, and overall to support North American manufacturing. It's true that this does add some cost to the process but we hope you'll think the quality is worth it!
Manufacturing locally has the added benefit of meeting face to face with the people who make our shirts and building a relationship with them. This allows for a more creative collaboration that is focused on bringing you the best and most fashion forward items (at least we hope you think so).
Cheval is a family-owned business. My daughter and I ride and compete in hunter/jumpers and, of course, are passionate about our horses. My husband has learned to help out at the shows - and does it quite well - he can even handle my spooky 17hh horse! The business and riding are truly a team effort!
